Supa
Supa Van Udyan (Atal) is envisioned as a thoughtfully designed landscape destination that brings together nature, recreation, environmental awareness, and community engagement. The master plan integrates diverse garden experiences with water features, leisure spaces, and visitor amenities, creating a vibrant outdoor environment for people of all ages.
The project also incorporates essential infrastructure such as parking facilities, access roads, compound walls, water storage systems, a sewage treatment plant, electrical and pump rooms, and integrated plumbing networks. Sustainability-oriented provisions include solar lighting, solar panels on parking shades, a solar electricity collection area, drip irrigation, and sprinkler systems.
A Nature-Inspired Landscape and Recreational Destination
The landscape is organized around a network of interconnected pathways that guide visitors through themed gardens, including butterfly, flower, herbal, bamboo, cactus, bonsai, stone, and sculpture gardens. These distinct landscape zones offer a variety of sensory experiences while celebrating the richness and diversity of the natural environment.
The development is complemented by picnic areas, lawns, and mesh gardens. A network of pathways, stone walkways, bridges, gazebos, pergolas, and viewing decks enhances pedestrian circulation while encouraging visitors to explore and experience the landscape.
Water bodies, an existing stream, and a natural dam form important elements of the overall design, enhancing the visual character of the site and creating opportunities for tranquil viewing spaces. Viewing decks, gazebos, picnic lawns, and shaded seating areas encourage visitors to pause, relax, and connect with nature.
Key recreational and cultural facilities include an amphitheatre with stage and backstage areas, an interpretation centre, children’s play equipment, sculpture platforms, a watchtower, and dedicated seating areas. Water features such as fountains and ponds contribute to the visual appeal of the landscape, while supporting facilities — including a cafeteria, shops, toilets, security cabins, first-aid room, and caretaker facilities — ensure visitor convenience.
